Seiun Award is a program by SF Fans Association of Japan. The annual award recognizes those who have made great contributions to science fiction field. The categories of the awards include long and short fiction, movies, animation, performances, multimedia, and fine art both from Japan and overseas. Yoshitaka Amano won the fine arts category.
